Dan Massey’s research focuses on cyber security for traditional systems, emerging cyber physical systems and the Internet of Things. Prior to joining CU, he was a program manager in the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Cyber Security Division, where his programs ranged from distributed denial of service defense to cyber physical system security for vehicles, medical devices and building controls. He has also worked on Internet security and is a co-editor of the IETF DNS Security standard (DNSSEC).
