Rachel’s work at the Crown Institute began when she came to complete a PhD program in clinical psychology with Dr. Sona Dimidjian. Rachel was interested in Sona’s work focused on women's mental health, community based participatory research, and novel strategies to increase access to mental health services (e.g., through integrated care, peer delivery, online platforms). She hopes her work will ultimately address the treatment gaps and health disparities that exist in women's mental health. Rachel has a BA from Bowdoin College and a MSc from Harvard School of Public Health. She recently completed her internship year at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) track and received her PhD in 2020 from the University of Colorado Boulder.
