Matt graduated from the University of Denver with his doctoral degree in clinical psychology in August 2010. He received his masters degree from Arizona State University and his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University.
Prior to coming to CU, Matt completed internships at the University of Denver Health and Counseling Center and the VA Hospital in Denver. Matt brings therapeutic experience working with students who present with chronic pain, GLBTQ issues, PTSD, social phobia, giftedness, and substance abuse. Matt brings experience in testing gifted people with learning disabilities, including dyslexia, ADHD and mild traumatic brain injury. He has led groups for individuals struggling with transgender issues, social anxiety and a DBT group.
