CAPS understands this is a very challenging time for all CU Boulder students.  We will be available for ongoing support and services with a few operational changes for the safety of the students and staff.

CAPS has transitioned services to be over the phone and online. Please call 303-492-2277 and follow the instructions on the voicemail.

Given the sensitive nature of what we do, we are working diligently to provide the best services we can at this time. We appreciate your understanding and support. Please continue to check the website for updates as the situation evolves.

Adjusted hours

We will be available over the phone and online Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Individual therapy and psychiatric care

CAPS is continuing to provide individual therapy and psychiatric follow-up appointments online based on provider availability.

Workshops and resources

CAPS is offering online workshops to support students in coping with stress, anxiety and uncertainty related to COVID-19. We have both pre-recorded and live workshops available. Live workshops afford you the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the presenter, however if you cannot make these times, these workshops have been pre-recorded and are available to you.

e-Let's Talk

e-Let’s Talk is a free service where CU Boulder students can check in via telehealth for an informal and confidential consultation with a counselor. No appointment is necessary. Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis at various times throughout the week.

Due to licensure laws, all students receiving CAPS services must be present in the state of Colorado at the time of their appointment. Our staff will provide support and work to connect students who are out of state with local resources.

To get connected with a provider in their areas, students can also explore Thriving Campus for community referrals.
