Sabrina Neu
PsyD • Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Coordinator

Sabrina joined the CAPS staff in 2000 as a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialty training in substance abuse services. She shared her interest in group psychotherapy by assisting in the expansion of CAPS group services for students and the development of training in group facilitation for masters and pre-doctoral level interns.  In 2004 she decided to pursue a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Rockies, and had the opportunity to live in Melbourne, Australia while completing her pre-doctoral internship. Upon completing her PsyD, she returned to Boulder to resume her passion for working with CU students.

My favorite thing about working at CAPS

Working with a multi-disciplinary team and being in a university environment since I love to learn. It’s also a privilege to work with students at such an important time in their life, and to get to see them grow and discover their strengths.

Areas of interest

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, phobias, mindfulness-based approaches (DBT, ACT), trauma/EMDR, group psychotherapy and pain management.
