Miranda Shepherd-Bussiere
Social Work Fellow

Miranda is originally from Maine, where she grew up with her grandparents and twin brother. She moved to Bangor, Maine for her undergraduate degree, and that is where she developed a love of hiking and nature. While living in Bangor, she worked at an inpatient hospital for children and adolescents. She also co-facilitated a bereavement group for adolescent girls who had lost a loved one. A few months after graduating, Miranda moved to Boston to get her Masters of Social Work at Boston College. Here, she worked as a School Social Worker at an elementary school and a clinician at McLean Hospital on a short-term unit for adults. It was through these experiences that Miranda realized she enjoyed working with the college-aged population.
