Mac is a student in the PsyD program at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Professional Psychology. He has clinical experience in a variety of settings including the VA, the Colorado State Employee Assistance Program, outpatient programs for the treatment of eating disorders and substance abuse, as well as a treatment facility for registered sex offenders. Mac has experience with individual and group therapy, psychological evaluations, and crisis intervention.
Mac approaches treatment from a relational psychodynamic lens and recognizes the importance that the therapeutic relationship has on individual growth. He aims to provide empathy and respect for all students and a safe environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered.
