Emily joined CAPS this fall to complete her doctoral internship training year. She has a variety of clinical experience in university counseling centers as well as working in substance use, sleep disorders and eating disorders. She is trained as a contextual behaviorist and utilizes a mindfulness-based approach from acceptance and change models (ACT, FAP, DBT) to focus on collaborating with clients to build a more values-directed, meaningful life.
