Biography

Leila McCamey joined the University of Colorado Boulder and the Campus Controller’s Office in 2004. Prior to becoming associate director, she held the roles of area accountant, grant accountant, and deputy controller. Her current role includes system implementations and upgrades, training related to All Funds model, technical operations, metrics and reporting, business process documentation and training. Leila is passionate about financial-related training for CU staff and strives to help each member of the CU community fulfill their fiscal roles. Leila earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Illinois Wesleyan University and her Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado Denver. She is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Colorado. In addition to her experience at CU, Leila has worked as an accountant within the USAFE Services division of the U.S. Air Force while living in Germany and for a special event management company in Minnesota.
