Andrea is the assistant director for conference operations bringing over 23+ years of Higher Education to her position. She has been at the University of Colorado since July 2002, and in her current position since May 2010. Andrea earned her associate’s degree from Waldorf College and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of St. Catherine. She then went on to earn her master’s in higher education from Iowa State University. In her current position, Andrea is responsible for coordinating, managing and implementing all aspects of the CU Conference Services summer conference housing operation. She also provides leadership for all marketing and assessment aspects. Andrea brings a unique background and skillset to the Conference Services Team with her Student Affairs background and her passion for collaboration. She is an active member of ACCED-I and is currently working towards another master’s degree.
In her free time outside of CU, you can find Andrea in the pigpen; raising award winning pigs with her daughter and husband for 4-H, or volunteering in her community and for her church, running, riding her cruiser bike around Longmont, home remodeling, or baking cupcakes inspired by her favorite Colorado craft brews.
