May’s Monthly Ethics & Compliance Education Series will focus on the responsibilities that the campus community has to protect minors on campus. Each year, there are more and more minors are on CU Boulder’s campus year round. They are here for a variety of educational, athletic, volunteer, cultural or other programs specifically created for them.

In this session, Tasha Abbott, Youth Program Coordinator will cover:

  • Responsibility as a faculty, staff or student to protect minors on campus.
  • The trainings, policy, and educational opportunities for interacting with minors on campus available.

This presentation will include more information on all the ways you may encounter minors on campus. As well as how to appropriately handle interactions with minors. There will also be information about expectations if you are hosting minors on campus and what information needs to be reported to the campus.

Ample time for audience Q&A will be provided during and at the end of the session.
