Cringe Moments can be defined as “those moments of truth where something has been said or done by someone else and it cannot go ignored and must be faced. There may be months, or even years, of egregious situations that lead up to a Cringe Moment, but there is almost always a point where the final straw breaks the camel’s back.”  Kirsi Aulin, Ombuds Director, will give this month’s presentation

In this session, participants will learn the framework for working through a Cringe Moment broken up into the following phases:

  • Phase 1: Learning
  • Phase 2: Exploring and Assessing
  • Phase 3: Aligning Values to Options
  • Phase 4: Putting Values Into Action

This resource is just one that the Ombuds Office offers.
