January’s Monthly Ethics & Compliance Education Series will feature a presentation on the ethical considerations around the responsible conduct of research with a focus the university’s processes for dealing with allegations of research misconduct.
Presented by Joe Rosse, Associate Vice Chancellor of Research Integrity & Compliance in the Research & Innovation Office, this informative session will provide attendees with a broad overview of research misconduct including why it occurs, the CU Boulder philosophy, tools and resources available to members of the university community and processes in place to protect all parties.
Joe will also share the types and frequency of allegations reported to the Research Integrity office as well as how the reporting process works, allowing attendees to gain an understanding of what to do and how to say something if the need arises.
During the hour session, ample time for audience Q&A will exist to allow for a full understanding of the processes and resources in place.
