April’s Monthly Ethics & Compliance Education Series will feature a presentation highlighting the ways the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) works toward inclusive excellence while breaking down barriers to opportunity.

Presented by Teresa Wroe, Director of Education and Prevention with OIEC, this session will be sure to cover the basics – university policies enforced by the office, reporting options and processes in place, as well as training, education and resources available.  Teresa will share a selection of case examples to illustrate the “why” behind the work OIEC does and the approach their staff take to their work.

Whether through conducting fair and unbiased investigations, providing remedies and accommodations, or supporting prevention through educational trainings to the campus community, OIEC is committed to preventing and eliminating discrimination and harassment.  Through the information presented and discussions that will follow in this session, Teresa will connect the work of OIEC to your role on campus.

Ample time for audience Q&A will be provided during and at the conclusion of the session.
