March’s Monthly Ethics & Compliance Education Series will focus on drone operations on campus and how to be compliant when flying.
In this session, Dan Hesselius, Director of Flight Operations & Chief Pilot from Integrated Remote and In SITU Sensing will cover:
While drones have been in existence for nearly 100 years they quickly started evolving into what we know today starting in the early 2000’s. With this rapid development and change in technology, the laws and policies, surrounding their use has also changed. As a drone owner and operator, it is your responsibility to know what those are. The presentation will cover that. It will also cover what your expectations of seeing a drone in flight should be as a bystander.
Ample time for audience Q&A will be provided during and at the conclusion of the session.
