July’s Monthly Ethics & Compliance Education Series features the Office of Financial Aid and will explore the topic of consumer information requirements as they relate to federal financial aid funding received by the university.

Presented by Ofelia Morales, Director of Financial Aid, this session will highlight the philosophy of the office as it relates to affordable and accessible education for our prospective, current and transfer students.  Ofelia will provide attendees with a fundamental understanding of Title IV federal funding as it relates to the Consumer Information protections afforded to our students.  Case study type examples will provide insight into everyday situations faculty and staff experience that have the ability to support or place at risk our federal financial aid funding.

This information packed session will provide attendees with a personal connection to how each of us as employees at CU Boulder can support shaping the leaders of tomorrow through ensuring funding is available for our students’ education expenses.

Ample time for audience Q&A will be provided during and at the conclusion of the session.
