Diplomas & Diploma Covers
A standard-size paper diploma or certificate (11 inches x 8.5 inches) is mailed to every new graduate approximately eight weeks after the end of the semester in which you complete your degree requirements. If you didn't establish a separate diploma address when you applied to graduate, your diploma will be mailed to your home address. The post office will not forward your diploma if your address changes.
Diploma covers may be mailed to you by your school, college or department as part of a recent grad mailing. If they are not sent by your school, college or department, a diploma cover will be mailed along with your diploma. Please see above regarding the diploma mailing timelines and how to update your diploma address.
Transcripts & Deposit Refunds
Official transcripts are comprehensive records of your academic coursework and progress at the University of Colorado that reflect earned degrees as well as credits accepted in transfer or by exam. Official transcripts may be ordered online through the Transcript Office.
Confirmation Deposit Refund
Confirmation deposit refunds, less any outstanding debt, will be released approximately eight weeks after graduation. Refunds will be directly deposited into your bank account so long as you have signed up for direct deposit via the BuffPortal. See the Bursar's Office How To's page to find out how to sign up for direct deposit.
