Please expect heavy traffic while traveling to Boulder, within the city and on campus.

We recommend you arrive earlier rather than later to allow for adequate time to travel to campus parking areas and then from the parking areas to the stadium.  The gates to the stadium open at 7 a.m. and we recommend you be in your seat by 8:15 a.m. to see the student processional into the stadium.  Guests attending Departmental Recognition Ceremonies directly following the main ceremony are encouraged to park in areas near their department ceremony. (Please review the Department Recognition Ceremonies webpage for specific locations.) A courtesy shuttle (details listed below) will be available to and from the main ceremony in Folsom Stadium.

For detailed campus parking maps and instructions on the recommended areas to park, please visit the Parking & Transportation Services website.

Parking attendants will direct you to the available lots in the area as you enter campus.  Parking meters and pay stations on campus are free the day of Commencement.

Drop-Off for Guests Requiring ADA Accessibility

A drop-off area for those who have difficulty walking will be at the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Folsom Street, southeast of the stadium. It is best to access the drop-off area well before the student procession reaches the stadium at approximately 8:15 a.m.

Parking for Guests Requiring ADA Accessibility

Guests who need ADA Accessible parking may park in lots 204, 346, 354, 359, 360, 380 and 440 (please see map); parking attendants on-site will direct you to the available lots in the area.  A standard disability parking placard is required to park in lots 346, 354, 359 and 360; please have placard displayed when arriving on campus. A disability parking placard is not required to park in lots 204, 380 and 440.  Courtesy shuttles will be available from those lots for guests who may have difficulty with the walk to Folsom Field.  Please notify parking staff upon arrival to campus if you have a need for these accommodations.
