Celebrate With Pomp and Circumstance
While no campuswide commencement ceremony is held in winter, all fall graduates are encouraged to participate in the commencement ceremony. The commencement program will list you and your peers who graduate in the fall semester, as well as all candidates who have applied to graduate in the spring or summer. At the commencement ceremony, you will receive recognition with the rest of your class during the degree conferral.
Winter Recognition Ceremonies
Just because formal commencement takes place in the spring doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate graduation sooner. Several colleges, schools, departments and programs hold their own recognition ceremonies in December. At these events, you may have your name called as you cross the stage.
