Denver’s Katie Wall (Thtr’05) and Courtney Jacobson (RelSt’07) are co-founders of TheCultureBiz, which helps companies build unique team cultures through play and connection. Katie, Courtney and their team offer workshops and resources to companies. Katie, the company’s CEO, credits her knowledge of the human experience, strong public speaking ability and understanding of team ensemble building to what she learned at CU. Courtney, the COO, credits her studies at CU for teaching her about community, critical thinking and the importance of ritual.

After working as a contractor for Amazon Web Services, ​​Lauren Glendenning (Jour’05) joined the company full time in January as global communications manager on the employer brand team. Prior, Lauren was director of content and communications for PowerPublish, a small content marketing startup. She also worked at Swift Communications for more than 13 years, with roles including content marketing director, editor-in-chief at The Aspen Times, editorial projects manager at Colorado Mountain News Media and senior reporter and assistant managing editor at the Vail Daily.

In 2021, Austin Sheldon (Kines’05) completed his doctorate in clinical sciences from Andrews University. He is an associate professor of physical therapy at Bloomington, Minnesota’s Rasmussen University and program director of the postgraduate orthopedic physical therapy clinical residency at the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy/Messiah University.

Driven by the urgency of climate change, the firm invests in properties and partnerships — including farms, ranches and office, industrial and multifamily properties — with the goal of cultivating healthy food, people and places.

In April, Erich Schubert (Jour’05; MA’08) was named vice president of communications and content for the Denver Broncos. Entering his 16th season with the Broncos, Erich works closely with the club’s chief communications officer and chief marketing officer. In addition to his involvement with the team’s day-to-day football, corporate and internal communications plans, Erich oversees the content department for the Broncos, which in 2022 became the first NFL franchise to win a Webby Award, often regarded as the internet’s highest honor. He began his career with the Broncos as a media relations intern in 2008 after working in the CU Boulder Sports Information Office with David Plati (Jour’82).

Andrew Geller (Psych’05) and Vincent Mangiere (Fin’13) met in 2020 and were engaged in November 2022. Andrew has had a successful career in dentistry and Vincent in finance. The couple plans to wed in Aspen in March 2024. They live in the West Village of New York.

Ari Gerzon-Kessler (MEdu’05) published On the Same Team: Bringing Educators and Underrepresented Families Together. The book offers research and classroom examples to guide school and district leaders in building Families and Educators Together (FET) teams, which can help foster a culture of inclusion and support for under-represented groups. Ari is the coordinator of family partnerships for Colorado’s Boulder Valley School District and previously served 16 years as a principal, assistant principal and bilingual teacher. He lives in Longmont.
