NPR News correspondent Kirk Siegler (Jour’00) was selected for the inaugural United Nations Foundation Thomas Lovejoy Press Fellowship to report on deforestation in the Amazon. Selected out of more than 1,000 applicants, he was one of 10 international journalists selected to travel to Camp 41 and Manaus, Brazil, in the fall of 2022. Kirk lives in Boise, Idaho.

Jayme Ritchie (Phil’00), director of community relations at law firm Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, joined the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation’s board of trustees. As co-chair of the board’s advocacy committee, she helps enrich the community through philanthropy, advocacy and outreach to support a world-class library system in Denver.

Former magazine editor and writer Kyle Duford (A&S ex’00) is president and executive creative director of The Brand Leader, an online marketing and advertising agency that has worked with brands like Dr. Martens, Speck Products and KEEN Footwear. His book, Twice Found: Getting a Second Chance at Life, Love, and Understanding God, is a memoir of his struggle to find God while simultaneously searching for the love of his life after not seeing her for more than 20 years.
