Part of the core mission of CNAIS is our committment to inter-disciplinary work in our field. As such, we are an independent center and we rely on funding and support from a wide range of groups both on-campus and off. If you or your organization would like to support Native American and Indigenous Studies at CU, here are some ideas!

Help fund Native students doing scholarly work and research at CU Boulder. CNAIS hosts Research Assistant (RA) Graduate Students each semester. These students work directly with CNAIS Core Faculty on areas in the field of Native American and Indigenous Studies (NAIS). If you'd like to help fund a student, let us know!

NAIS Student Scholarship

Contribute to the CNAIS Annual Native American & Indigenous Speaker and Research Series. Each year, the Executive Board determines a different focus for this series that showcases current research and areas of interest in NAIS. We host between 3-5 events per academic year featuring local, national, and international experts. Highlighting these topics is of enormous value to our Native & Indigenous students and faculty, as well as the local community. Let us know if you'd like to contribute!

Give a gift to the CNAIS Reading Room. CNAIS hosts the beginnings of a premier collection of scholarly and creative works in NAIS. Starting with a generous gift from CU, we are collecting the most current works of local faculty, authors, and artists so that our students have the best tools at their fingertips for research. If you'd like to donate to the CNAIS Reading Room in some way, let us know!
