Rachael A. Liberman is a Visiting Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Media, Film & Journalism Studies at the University of Denver. She received her PhD in Communication from the University of Colorado Boulder and her MA in Media Studies from The New School. During her service as Senior Fellow and Research Fellow at the Center for Media, Religion and Culture, she assisted in various research projects as well as the organization of annual conferences. Her current research tracks the construction, proliferation and circulation of discourses of sexuality and gender in contemporary media culture; in particular, the mediation of sexual subjectivity.
