Wendy Norris is an Information Science PhD student and works with Prof. Stephen Voida to explore how time and temporality are represented in humanitarian socio-technical systems. Her work is situated in crisis informatics, human-computer interaction, social computing, and digital humanitarian networks. She brings extensive industry experience in online platform development, crowdsourcing/peer production systems, and user-centered design processes. Prior to graduate school, Wendy held professional fellowships at Stanford University, University of California Berkeley, University of Southern California, and the City University of New York.
