Casey Paul is a first year MS student in the Information Science Department at CU Boulder. Advised by Jed Brubaker, her research focuses on the different types of online data—specifically social media and online platform data—the bereaved value when a loved one passes away in order to draw attention to the full life cycle of digital assets. Casey also has a BS in information science with a minor in creative technology and design.
In addition to her education, she also works for the CU Athletics Department as a sports photographer where she is responsible for photographing CU Boulder sporting events such as PAC-12 football, lacrosse, soccer and basketball games.
Outside of academia, Casey enjoys paddle boarding, fishing, hanging out with friends, baking and reading.
