Laurids Andersen Sonne is a Danish interdisciplinary artist. His work spans 16mm film, video, installation, sculpture, performance, and socially engaged art projects. Laurids sees art as a catalyst for reflection on being: a way to explore, entwine, and unfold urgent topics.
Before joining Critical Media Practices, Laurids was a member of the four-person art collective Parfyme. Parfyme’s work has shown in numerous international venues, including Manifesta 8, The Dakar Biennial, Sequences Real-Time Festival, Nikolaj Copenhagen Contemporary Art Center and Seoul National University Museum of Art.
