Josh Westerman is an artist, performer, and media scholar. Their research is concerned with intimacy, community formation, and post-digital constructs of the family. Their work often manifests in performance, installation, and netart. Currently, they are researching the Proud Boys through the lens of radical masculine intimacy in a project that will culminate in a mixed media video installation.

Josh holds an MFA in experimental sound practices and intermedia art from California Institute for the Arts and a bachelor's in music and philosophy from the University of North Texas.
