Brittany Hamilton is a master’s student looking to further her depth of knowledge in rhetoric and environmental communication. Her primary research interests include green technologies, environmental communication, environmental racism, and other intersections between the ways in which people choose to not only interact with the environment, but also the ways in which we communicate that interaction.
Brittany has a B.A. degree in Communication and a B.S. degree in Natural Resources Management from the University of Arkansas-Monticello, and uses both of these backgrounds in her research, letting them fuel what she wants to study next. Brittany also played Volleyball throughout her undergraduate education, and has been a part of research projects for the University of Idaho Human Dimensions department, and UAM’s Communication department. Brittany is hoping to keep the environment at the forefront of different discussions as the times are rapidly changing.
