Bailey Troutman is a PhD student interested in studying technology, the environment, and corporate responsibility through research methods in Cultural Studies. Her background includes a B.S. in Communication with Honors from Indiana University Kokomo, and an M.A. in Communication,
Technology and Society from Clemson University.
Her Master's Thesis with Distinction honors involved critical discourse analysis of Google's Data Centers and corporate commitments to sustainability and renewable energy. She has been published in the International Journal of Cultural Studies, the Journal of Information, Communication, and Society and the Journal of Communication & Sport. Bailey enjoys teaching college students and serving in research roles with faculty members.
