Rebecca Zinner is filmmaker and photographer whose production interests include community-based media, sensory ethnography, and portraiture. Her artistic projects explore themes of place and community, health and body, familial relations, and end of life. Her video work has screened at film festivals internationally. She is currently the lead film instructor for the CIRES Outreach & Education Program’s Lens on Climate Change, an initiative that engages middle and high school students in creating short documentary projects on topics of climatic and environmental changes. Zinner earned an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Franklin & Marshall College and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Documentary Media Practices from CU Boulder.
