Kira Hachtel is a Temporary Summer Registration Advisor in CMCI. Born and raised in Boulder, she completed both her BA and MA in English here at CU. Before joining the CMCI advising team she worked as an academic advisor at Front Range Community College, Boulder County Campus and specialized in the Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Here at CU she works with incoming freshmen and transfer students. When Kira isn’t advising, she enjoys wood-working, having wild theoretical discussions about literature, throwing tea-parties, and snuggling with her ridiculous dog Penny and her cat Memphis!
