A short film called Laboratory Conditions that Robert Scheid (Jour) edited (and got to act in as well) is making the film festival rounds. The film stars Marisa Tomei, Minnie Driver and Paulo Costanzo. Robert acts, edits and teaches editing and all things Apple in Los Angeles and remotely via the Internet.

Piya Sorcar (Bus, Econ, Jour) is the founder and CEO of the social venture TeachAids, an adjunct affiliate at Stanford University School of Medicine, and a faculty fellow at the Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health. TeachAids HIV education software is used in 82 countries, including areas where HIV-related education was previously forbidden. TeachAids launched CrashCourse concussion education in partnership with 23 of the U.S. Olympic Committee’s national governing bodies. Sorcar lives in Mountain View, California.

Mike Tarson (Jour) and Allyson Valentine (Advert) are married and live in Fairfield, Connecticut, with their son and twin daughters. Tarson joined NewsNation in March and is a supervising producer on Elizabeth Vargas Reports. Prior to that, he was with CNN for 15 years. After eight years of teaching in public schools, Valentine started Pop Studio, a balloon decor company, in 2020.
