Sean Kenney
PhD Student
Communication

Office Hours: Wednesdays from 9-11 am, virtually

Sean Kenney is a graduate student in the organizational communication track.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he studied anthropology and Spanish and Portuguese language and culture. After working in the nonprofit sector and later the Leeds School of Business, Sean returned to graduate school to explore a few persistent curiosities related to identity, belonging, and organizational design. His research interests lie in examining how critical approaches like queer theory might be mobilized to understand and affect change in organizations. Sean lives in Denver with his partner, and since 2014 he has been a producer for OutSources, Colorado’s only weekly on-air radio program dedicated to queer issues.
