she, her, hers

Alicia is from a small town in central Florida. She attended Florida State University for her bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences where she fell in love with human development. She then went on to receive her Master’s degree in Social Work at Florida State University.  She lived in the DC area for two years before moving to Colorado in 2015 to start working on her PhD in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership. She is passionate about coaching college students, helping students overcome the many challenges they experience in college, and helping students design the life they want. She has coached hundreds of college students across the country and believes coaching is an incredible tool that can unlock the potential of humans. She is the first in her family to attend and graduate from college and believes education is the key to a better life and better future for all of us.

Alicia lives in Boulder with her husband and dog. She loves to write, connect with people over coffee, bike (for fun!), host the College Life podcast, read self-help books, listen to podcasts, and travel.
