Strategies to Enhance the Experience of Exercise Study

Do you need to increase your cardio?

This research study examines strategies people can use to change their experience during cardiovascular exercise!

What you will do: 1 two-hour laboratory session including: survey, fitness test, learning a strategy, and 30-minute supervised exercise session, 2 weeks of exercise on your own while filling out short daily surveys, and 1 survey at the end of the study. The in-person laboratory session will take place at the CU Boulder Center for Innovation and Creativity (1777 Exposition Drive in Boulder).

 Compensation: $10 for the laboratory session, $1 per day for filling out daily surveys (up to $14), and $5 for the follow-up survey.

 Who can be in the study: You should be between the ages of 18 and 40. You should not be doing regular cardiovascular exercise; this study is for people who do not exercise right now. You should be willing to start a cardiovascular exercise program that involves walking, hiking, jogging, or running. You should not have any health problems that prevent you from exercising safely.
