This month's Science Hero award goes to the FORCE team! Just recently they completed recruitment, encouraging nearly 200 sedentary older adults to agree to come exercise with us every week for 16 weeks. It is no small task to recruit people who are 60 and over, healthy enough to do high intensity exercise, are eligible to go in the MRI, and--this being Boulder--aren't already elite ironman triathletes! The FORCE team did an amazing job bringing our wonderful participants into the study, and also has a fantastic record of retaining participants in the study once they are here. Well done, FORCE Team!
