Events and Communication Coordinator

Diamond Darling (she/her) is the events and communications coordinator for the Center for Humanities & the Arts (CHA) at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Diamond received her BS in Hospitality Management with a focus in the hotel and tourism industry in 2018. In 2020, her career path shifted to higher education, beginning at the University of Kentucky. While in Kentucky, Diamond worked as a communications and conference coordinator for a newly created public health research center. When she traded in the Kentucky Bluegrass for the Rocky Mountains in 2022, she found an ideal fit to bring her experience of implementing communication strategies, branding, event planning, and promotions to the University of Colorado Boulder’s Center for Humanities & the Arts.

Diamond oversees CHA’s communications and marketing strategies and coordinates events hosted by the Center. Diamond believes that by amplifying space for the arts & humanities to thrive, we can gain a greater understanding and appreciation of what it means to be human.

While not in the office, Diamond finds time to practice yoga, go on hikes, and explore the Colorado scenery.
