Taylor Jaworski is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Faculty Research Fellow in Development of the American Economy program at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research and teaching interests are in US economic history. His current research focuses on the role of federal, state, and local government policy in regional development over the twentieth century. He is also working on a project to understand the role of regional cultures in the settlement of the American West.
