Inclusive Pedagogy Lead

Quatez Scott began his position as the Inclusive Pedagogy Lead at CU Boulder in the summer of 2022. In this capacity, Quatez assists faculty with their inclusive engagement and development in the three Ps that are critical to faculty and student success: Pedagogy, Practice, and Policies. He has learned and believes that each of these concepts must be centered on student’s learning experiences for faculty and students to achieve their highest potential.

Prior to his arrival at CU Boulder, Quatez oversaw the Bolinga Black Cultural Resources Center at Wright State University, was the director of Diversity and Inclusion at Mercy College of Ohio, oversaw Diversity & Leadership Initiatives at Washington & Jefferson College, and was a residence director at Colorado State University. He also launched his own podcast titled “Transformative IDEAS” (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness in Society). Quatez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts at Wilmington College (OH), a Master of Arts in Higher Education/Student Affairs at Eastern Michigan University, and a Ph.D. in Foundations of Education at The University of Toledo.
