I am an artist, dancer, choreographer, educator, activist and human being. I have been a professional dancer for many years, and now here at CU I am deepening my artistic process through research and teaching as a dance MFA candidate. My research is an evolving exploration of humor, social justice and somatic experience. These themes within my research are continually informing my teaching as well. Heading into my second year of teaching within the CU Dance department, I continue to ask the question, how I can encourage critical thinking and foster community in the classroom? And out of the classroom? I have a passion for performance, for working with people, and for movement and expression! I am excited to be joining this great team of Leads as we work to combine our powers and improve graduate teaching across campus!
