I find myself absolutely in love all aspects of "nerd", specifically finding myself obsessed with all Dungeons and Dragon (D&D) content I can find. I have two pet-babies, one Husky named Katrina and one German Shepard named Soba. I really enjoy going out on hikes around CO and taking those two with me (they always make me giggle, they are the goofiest!). Lastly, I have been a part of the color guard community for 10 years, being both a performer and an instructor. I marched four years with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps along with seven years at ATX Winterguard (both based out of Texas) and since been teaching around Austin, TX. Now in CO pursuing my Ph.D. in Biochemistry, I currently work in Karolin Luger's lab researching the histone-like proteins found in the Giant virus Medusa (yes, as the name suggests Medusa does turn its host into a "stone-like state").
