Civil Engineering

Manjeet is a graduate student in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Construction Engineering and Management and is pursuing the Global Engineering Certificate. After completing his bachelors degree, Manjeet worked with different development organizations in different countries where he managed the construction of health clinics, schools and WASH facilities, mainly in rural settings.

His interest lies in infrastructure development and technology-assisted decision making to optimize construction projects especially for low-resourced communities. Developmental challenges are often multifaceted, and to tackle those there is a significant need for experts who can understand the system and execute an interdisciplinary process to pierce through technical and socio-economical constraints. He believes training at Mortenson Centre will help him understand such intrinsic developmental challenges and devise ways to address them.

Manjeet likes to stay up-to-date with current affairs and is fascinated by human history. In his free time, he reads nonfiction or watches documentaries or sports. He loves to travel and explore places and culture --- and food, of course!
