Civil Engineering

Jessica is working towards a Professional Master's Degree in Global Civil Engineering through the Mortenson Center. She has been involved with the undergraduate program for Global Engineering at CU Boulder for the past four years, and has been able to act as a research assistant on projects through both the Mortenson Center and the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering. Jessica was on a research team for an EPA P3 grant, working towards creating a tool to help evaluate chemical health risks in drinking water.

As Jessica starts her graduate career, she is interested in humanitarian aid and how it can pair with sustainable energy solutions. She is excited to be part of the Mortenson Center and its great community, as well as to learn new ways to apply her degree to serve others.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys reading, exploring new places, and obsessing over her pet lizard.
