Get a head start!
We encourage all students who want to improve their English language skills to study at the International English Center (IEC) in Fall 2020, beginning on August 19, 2020. We expect to have both online (remote) and in-person options available.
The IEC will offer remote intensive English language and ESL Academic Bridge courses in Fall 2020 for international students who are not able to enter the U.S. due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Students can begin their studies remotely and then continue their studies in-person when they are able to travel to the U.S.
For students studying remotely:
We are committed to providing students with a high-quality and rigorous remote learning experience that includes the same hours and features as our in-person instruction. Our synchronous courses use the latest technology to deliver interactive and engaging lessons. In these courses, teachers and students participate in an active learning community. Teachers provide live instruction and give extensive individualized feedback to students. Students participate in class discussions, complete group work, and ask or answer questions in real-time. Also, students have opportunities to participate in live online clubs and workshops after regularly scheduled class hours. Our IEC advisors and Student Services team will continue to support all students in the U.S. and abroad.
Successful completion of the IEP and ESL Academic Bridge remote courses will allow students to progress through our program without delay so they can get a head start on their future U.S. university studies. Apply today!
