Scholars in Residence  

The Benson Center has funding on an annual basis to support scholars who wish to spend an academic year in Boulder as scholars in residence affiliated with the Center. To be a plausible candidate for these positions, scholars must be able to make a strong case for their ability to contribute to the Center's mission.

Alan S. Kahan has been named the 2021-22 Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy. The application period for the 2022-23 Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy, a senior-level position, is open. Catherine Steidl and Tristan Rogers have been named Scholars in Residence for the 2021-22 academic year.
