The Undergraduate Fellows Program is not a student club, and there are no participation requirements. You can come to everything, or just what interests you! This is a unique opportunity to engage at your own pace and according to your own availability with current affairs and issues that affect the way we think about our economy, politics, and culture. Students in the program come from across many majors and colleges across CU Boulder, and the group (like our Center) does not have a political affiliation or point of view it is trying to promote - it's about exploring the world through intellectually humble inquiry, in the great Western Civ tradition.

The Benson Center is now accepting applications from CU Boulder undergraduates for our Undergraduate Fellows Program. Undergraduate Fellows will be offered special opportunities to engage with the Center, including intimate discussions with our visiting scholars, private receptions with prominent visitors, and advance notice about events and conferences. Our goal in creating the Benson Center Fellows program is to foster an environment of serious intellectual inquiry for all students who desire to learn more about the moral, economic, and political questions of our time.
You do not have to pursue a Western Civ certificate to participate in the Undergraduate Fellows program. Undergraduate students from all majors and colleges will be considered.
