Dear Benson Center Friend:
We hope you will join us in just a few hours, at 6 p.m. MT, for a hybrid event: "The Banker Who Brought Down the Old Regime: The Political Economy of Jacques Necker (1732-1804)." The lecture is presented by Helena Rosenblatt (Graduate Center, CUNY) and moderated by Benson Center Visiting Scholar Alan S. Kahan. It is part of the Center's 2021-22 "Capitalism and Ethics" series.
There is still time to register for the event! You must register to attend via Zoom. Registration for in-person attendees is preferred but not required.
Remote attendees: A Zoom link will be sent to you.
In-person attendees: If you are in the area, we invite you to attend the event live on the CU Boulder main campus, Eaton Humanities Building (1610 Pleasant St., Boulder, CO 80302), room 135. Please note that masks are currently required in public indoor spaces on the CU Boulder campus regardless of vaccination status.
The event is free and open to the public. If you can't attend live, please look for the recorded lecture, and other lectures in this series, on the Center's YouTube channel.
Cordially,
The Benson Center Staff
