Lorella Paltrinieri has been teaching Italian in the US and at the university level since 1992. As a native speaker of Italian, she has had the privilege and pleasure of sharing her language and culture with thousands of students, having taught every level of the language, as well as courses in Italian cinema, society and culture. Educated in Italy, Lorella holds a degree in Translation and Interpretation (primary specialization in English and secondary in French), with a thesis translated from English into Italian. Beyond teaching, she has also translated books from English into Italian, French into Italian and French into English. Additionally, she has translated scientific, artistic and other articles from English into Italian. She enjoys traveling, photography, gardening and socializing. Her real passion remains people, who she enjoys seeing grow and develop their full potential, such as by fulfilling the dream of learning a language.
