ALTEC has a job opening for a graphic designer to join the student employee staff. The graphic designer will work closely with the program assistant and other ALTEC staff on various brand and marketing concepts and designs. The graphic designer student employee will work 10-20 hours per week between 8am-4pm in Hellems 156.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Design eye-catching print and digital materials, including:

    • Email campaigns using MailChimp

    • Unit marketing materials

    • Webpage and social media content and design

    • Class and event promotional posters

  • Catalog and file all materials in a logical and easily accessible manner on Google Drive; ensure they are continuously up to date

  • Work independently and collaboratively on projects

  • Meet project deadlines

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud program suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) using a Mac desktop computer

  • Thorough knowledge of creating ‘print ready’ files

  • Willingness to learn new software and web platforms such as Web Express

  • Strong attention to detail and well-organized

  • Adherence to proper writing mechanics and university style guidelines

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities

  • Excellent communication skills to keep team informed of project status and progress
