ALTEC is proud to offer free language tutoring for undergraduate students enrolled in the first three semesters* of seven (7) languages: American Sign Language (ASL), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and Russian.
*We welcome upper-level students to join when tutors aren't assisting others.
Tutoring sessions are individual and last 25 minutes. Students can meet with tutors either in-person (in The HIVE @ALTEC, CASE E380) or remotely (on Microsoft Teams). Appointments can be made via Microsoft Bookings using the button below. (About Microsoft Bookings)

Spring 2024 schedule: Wednesdays and Fridays 10-11 a.m., Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Spring 2024 schedule: Mondays 9:30-11:30 a.m., Tuesdays 12:30-2 p.m., Thursdays 12:30-2 p.m.
Spring 2024 schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 11 a.m.-noon & 1-3:30 p.m.
Spring 2024 schedule: Mondays 12:15-1:45 p.m., Wednesdays 5-6:30 p.m., Thursdays 2-4 p.m.
Spring 2024 schedule: Mondays 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Tuesdays 3:45-4:45 p.m. *Japanese students in classes other than 1020 are welcome to come to tutoring sessions as a walk-in appointment if the Japanese tutor is not assisting a 1020 student.
